My intension for the studio today was to start in on a piece I've been commissioned to paint. I got distracted by the light streaming in through our kitchen window and onto the fruit bowl, however, and had a sudden urge to paint that instead. The commissioned painting will be next, though. Really.

I'd know that fruit bowl anywhere! Nice job with the light, makes me want to be home and sitting at the kitchen table chatting with you!
