I didn't want to walk away from my easel on a sour note after spending days on a larger painting only to have it end up in the dud pile.  sigh  So, I pulled up a reference photo from my archives and let loose with my paints taking a few artistic liberties along the way. It turned out to be a fun and relaxing way to end last week's
not-so-successful session.
